Hi, I’m Samuel McKenzie, the founder of The Relaxed Collector.
I’ve been a passionate Pokémon fan and collector for as long as I can remember—dating all the way back to the release of the very first Pokémon games. What began as a childhood fascination quickly grew into a lifelong hobby. Over the years, I’ve collected everything from Pokémon trading cards to Christmas ornaments, pencil erasers, and countless other pieces of memorabilia. Pokémon has always been more than just a hobby to me; it’s been a connection to nostalgia, creativity, and a global community of collectors.
As my collection grew, so did my involvement in the Pokémon community. I spent years learning the hobby from every angle—understanding sets, card conditions, market trends, and what collectors truly value.
